Auditing is a valuable tool that is
highly recommended by the UK Health and Safety Executive. It is the final step in the management system control cycle and
confirms the status of your legislative compliance by:
- Assessing the effectiveness of your
Management Systems
- Recognising achievements and identifying weaknesses
- Recommending action to maintain or improve performance
- Establishing an action plan
What We Can Do To Help You
We will undertake an
audit of your workplace to comply with these requirements, which may be expanded or modified to include specific needs of
your organisation
We can also provide the opportunity for health and safety awards from The International Accreditation
Society.
Inspections look at physical conditions; these are specified according to a specially
developed checklist. The exercise will take a fact-finding approach based on the circumstances present at the time of the
inspection. The checklist serves to focus attention and record results.
The objectives are to:
- Identify hazardous conditions or practices
with a view to commencing corrective processes;
- To improve operations and conditions
There are a number of types of inspection which we can offer:
Statutory - for compliance with health and safety legislation; General - to provide an
overview of health and safety performance and effectiveness; or
Scheduled - planned
at appropriate intervals to look at certain elements of the business.
